It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday and I’m just going with the flow….. this week!
Today’s card has an ocean vibe going on. I knew I wanted to create a shaker card based on the elements on the challenge board this week… Acetate, Critter, Die-cut.
I purchased a wave background design from the Silhouette store and cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo. I blended peacock feathers, broken china and tumbled glass distress inks onto the wave background.
I stamped and copic colored a few of the images from the Avery Elle Bubbles stamp set and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut and adhered them to the front of the wave background. I used my Misti to stamp the sentiment and curved it to fit the flow of the wave.
I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the wave background and layered strips of SU foam adhesive
onto the back of the acetate. I brushed my EK Success powder tool along the sides of the form strips which will help the sequins to not stick to the sides. I adhered a few of the sequins randomly on the acetate. I added the sequins and then adhered a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock to the back of the panel and then adhered it onto an A2 Top-Fold Card base. In the photo you can’t see my shaker elements. I wish you could it actually turned out better than expected. Thank you for stopping by hope too see you in the gallery….

“Inky Hugs”

Very nice card. The background waves turned out well it is a great base for the nicely colored fish. I really like the colors you chose for the waves, too!
See you soon!
