TTTC 196 With all my Heart!
Happy Thursday my crafty friends! I’m hoping everyone is doing well. I read a quote last night and it says: Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you’ve imagined. This quote has me written all over it. I started a new job last September so life has been a little busy.
This week I played middle row across (Red, Free, Love Sentiment). I could have easily played top left diagonal row down as well. I hope you link up and join us this week for some Tic Tac Toe with a crafty twist!
For my design this week I created a quilted background with the Lawn Fawn Quilted Backdrop out of Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red Cardstock. I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Thinking of You Heart die out of Neenah Solar White Cardstock.
I smeared the heart with Tsukineko Dew Drop Galaxy Gold Pigment Ink to give it a brushed wood look. I added a few gold drops and Tonic Nuvo Gold Gilding Flakes to add a little pop to my design. My art panel was adhered to a (4.25 x 5.50) MFT Grout Gray card base. Hope you’ll take a peek at the rest of the Design Team and our Guest Designer this week.

TTTC 180 – I Smile
Happy Thursday my crafty friends! I’m hoping everyone is dong well. I read a quote last night and it says: Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you’ve imagined. This quote has me written all over it. I recently started a new job so light has been a little busy.
This week I played top right diagonal row down ( Flowers, Any Sentiment, Foliage). I hope you link up and join us this week for some Tic Tac Toe with a crafty twist!
For my design this week I created a couple of roses from the Build A Flower: Rose stamp set and die to create these beautiful roses. One of the roses I masked off by using the complimentary die set. I chose the Cherry Blossom, Green Fields Mini Cube Set. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I was pleasantly surprised that my design came together easily by following the alignment guide and watching Nicole’s video. Using shades from the same color collection was definitely an easy way to ensure good color coordination. I really enjoy the Altenew Crisp Inks. They lay down color nicely and dry to perfection. They may look a little splotchy at first, but once the ink is completely dry, the color is uniform across the entire stamped image. To complete my design I die cut the art panel using the Lil Inker Stitched Mats Dual Stitched Rectangles for the stitched look and adhered it onto an A2 Neenah Solar White card base.
I marvel at how realistic the layered images look with just simple stamping – they make your cards look so special!

Hello Friends! It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday!!………. Pull out those crafty supplies and lets get inky with Tic Tac Toe Challenge. Design Team X is up this week. You know who is Featured Designer.
This week I played middle row down (Foliage, Thanks, Sequins/ or Gems). I’ve been trying to use my crafty supplies and play with old items especially. This beautiful stamp set is from a Simon Says Stamp Kit from last fall. I love this beautiful bouquet of fall flowers. It was perfect for this weeks board! I pulled out my Copic Markers and colored up this beauty. Lot’s of coloring but it was soooo relaxing! Hope you like my take on this weeks board. Head on over and check out the rest of Design Team X!
