Happy Sunday evening my crafty peeps…. I’ve been working on invitation’s for the Mister’s 50th birthday bash… and today I picked my girlfriend up from the airport went to breakfast with my family at this restaurant called Snooze the food was delicious and afterwards we went over to Torrey Pines Beach… I’m not a beach type of girl my sister-in-law says take off your shoes come out of your comfort zone and feel the sand between your toes a real challenge for me but what the heck we only live once right! I haven’t been able to play in the haven like I wanted too this weekend. I’ve been working on this card for a few days. The cue word over on the CASology blog this week is Journey. I decided to use a set that I just had to have and never used lol..I’m finally putting it to use. I pulled out a Beautiful Ride stamp set by SSS and I immediately thought of riding my bike to the market on a cobblestone street to pick up some flowers. I think I got the look riding up a hill on a cobblestone street. I hope you like my take on the sketch.

Hey gal, the thing I miss most about CA is being able to take off my shoes and walk in the sand. Hope you got a little enjoyment from it anyhow. Love seeing your cards.

Jen,
Thank you so much I really wanted the feeling of being on a cobblestone street in San Francisco at the market buying flowers. I wasn’t sure how it was going to all come together but in the end
I feel pretty good about this one.
Lisa, this is fabulous! I love the angle of the bike and the cobblestones…such a great touch! Thanks for joining us at CASology this week!

Melissa,
Thank you I had so much fun creating this card it’s awesome when you sit down to design and your design turns out exactly how you wanted it to.
Love the sentiment and the angle of your road Lisa! Hope you liked the feeling of the sand between your toes–lol. Thank you for sharing with us at CASology this week!
Tracy,
Thank you so much it took 3 tries before I felt good about the angle of the road and you know what the sand and the water did feel good between my toes. It felt nice to come out of my comfort zone for once.
