Happy Saturday my crafty friends… I’ve been busy as a beaver this week. I’m playing along in a few 30-day challenges this month one is the thermoweb national craft month Photo A Day Challenge the other is The Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge where you color something everyday. This morning I’m playing over on the Freshly Made Sketches blog for their weekly challenge. I have a dear friend who’s husband passed away this week and my heart is heavy. I don’t typically like making Sympathy cards but this one I created for her.
Since I’ve been coloring most of the week I stamped the Divine stamp image by Penny Black stamps on Neenah Solar white cardstock with MFT Black Licorice Hybrid ink. I then colored the image with several copic markers and added a light blue shadow around the flowers. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx black the stamp is Clearly Besotted Thinking of You set. I had to add sparkle with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen Clear. I’m not even sure you can see the sparkle or the blue shadow around the flower in the photo. I then assembled the card on a Neenah Solar card base with a (SU) Elegant Eggplant mat and on top the art piece is on Neenah Solar white cardstock, of course I had to ad a little bling with some (HA) Pearls.
