Hello my crafty friends…… I’ve been playing with paper quite a bit this week. I created a Birthday card for my Boss with a new technique for me marbling……. It was super cool. I have a quick post this evening for yah! I actually created this card earlier but I used craft cardstock instead wasn’t sure about the effect so I recreated it on Neenah Solar white… I pulled out a few copic markers and went to town coloring that cross. I knew the look I wanted I masked off the cross to create those soft rays with So Saffron ink.
Hope you like my take on the challenge over at The Paper Players this week the theme is Easter……. which is just a few days away…….. Well my friends I’m off to Stampin Up On Stage event this Saturday so I don’t know how much crafting I’ll get done this weekend. Hopefully I’ll get to play just a little……….

Lisa, first of all, this is gorgeous photography for this card, I had to look at your website to see other examples and you do a wonderful job taking photos of your projects, which really does make a big difference! This is a simple and glorious Easter card, I love the sunrays coming out. Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players this week! Crystal, DT
Crystal,
I truly appreciate your kind words. You would not believe it but I took two photography classes. My main goal was I wanted to take beautiful photo’s of my cards. I will say with lots of trial and error it’s been a labor of love. I also had my brother to create this stand for me when I take photo’s of my card with my I don’t mind sharing what he built for me and plus I also purchased some of the Photo boards that Debby Hughes use in her photos. They are worth it but the shipping can be a little costly they ship from the UK. I love playing on The Paper Players blog.
Such a beautiful and meaningful card, Felicita. I love the vines wrapped around the cross and the wonderful burst of light. Thanks for sharing with us this week at The Paper Players!
Sandy,
Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m so happy I got to play this week on The Paper Players blog.
