Happy Monday… my crafty friends I’m back with another card for this weeks Merry Monday Christmas challenge. This week Nina challenged us to create a card with an outdoor winter activity. I decided to create a cute little Christmas village you know those elves are busy this time of the year. Please head on over and check out the amazing designs the rest of the Design Team created this week.

For my design this week I knew I wanted a cute little Christmas Village for my outdoor activity. I took a scrap piece of Strathmore watercolor paper and did some ink smooshing with Salty Ocean Distress ink. I used the Echo Park Christmas Night Stencil with Versamark ink on the watercolored background and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I stamped and colored a few of the images from the October (MMH Kit) and copic colored. I die cut the mountain and tree borders from the kit and added Lucky Clover to the trees and a lightly blended Salty Ocean onto the mountain tops. I then adhered the art piece onto an A2 Top Fold Real Red Card base.

Crafty Supplies:
Paper: Strathmore Watercolor, Neenah Solar White (80lb), Real Red(SU)
Stamp: October (MMH Kit)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Various Copics (BG23,32 – R21,29 – C1,2 – YG15, G19, E30) Distress (Lucky Clover, Salty Ocean)
Accessories: Stampendous Detail White (EP), Echo Park Christmas Night Stencil, MFT Drift Die
