Happy Monday… my crafty friends I’m back with another card for this weeks Merry Monday Christmas challenge. This week Nina challenged us to create a Christmas card with snow. You can read all about the challenge HERE and also see what the rest of the design team created this week.

My design this week I wanted to use the Avery Elle Dashing through the Snow stamp set. I blended Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire Distress inks onto (4×5.25) panel of Kohi I-Noor Bristol card, I die cut the Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrop and used it as a stencil to add the snowy look to my night sky background. I used a sponge dauber to add the VersaMark ink and heat embossed with Stampendous Fine Detail (EP). The snowy hills was die cut out of Neenah Solar white card and ink blended with a little Chipped Sapphire distress ink to match the background.

I stamped the image from the stamp set and Copic colored with various Copic Markers (YG95,97,99 BG9, 11,13, 18 R46,BG57, Y13, E37) and cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut. The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine Onyx ink, to finish off my card I splattered a few droplets of Copic Opaque White and my Sakura White Gelly Roll pen to add snow onto the car and tree and adhered onto an A2 Neenah Solar White card base. I hope you like my take on this weeks challenge don’t forget to head on over and play along with us this week.
