Hello again!  I am posting my second homework assignment for AECP. This design I’m using the beautiful Build A  Flower: Rose set again, I’m in love with this stamp set it’s fast becoming a favorite. I love these layered roses and the countless ways they can be used to create so many lovely designs. If your new to layering stamps like me and feel intimidated by them, Altenew has layering guides with each set on their website. These guides are great if your not sure how to line the stamp layers up properly.  The more I create and come out of my comfort zone I’m loving learning this new technique.

Second Design
For my second project, I created a single rose from the Build A Flower: Rose stamp set and die to create this beautiful design. To color the flowers I stamped with Altenew Crisp Dye Inks in Red Cosmos, Green Fields Mini Cube Ink sets. This is quite simple as the images are fairly defined. If it isn’t exact it doesn’t matter in the least. The sentiment  is from the Build A Flower: Sakura Blossom stamp and die set and stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I was pleasantly surprised that my design came together easily by following the alignment guide. I wanted to set my rose in a frame so I die cut the art panel using the Lil Inker Stitched Mats Dual Stitched Rectangles to give it the look of a photo frame. Lastly I finished my card by adding a few Lucy’s pearls and adhered the lovely rose and leaves to the bottom right corner of the frame panel, and attached to Neenah 110 lb top fold card base. Feel free to leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my design today!
