You Are Amazing – Floral Card Design
Hello crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing a card that absolutely makes my heart happy—full of soft florals, fresh color, and just the right amount of texture. This design came together so naturally, and it’s one of those cards that feels both elegant and playful at the same time. I played tic tac toe top right diagonal row down: Floral/Foliage, Free, Encouraging Sentiment.
Design Details
I started with a beautiful embossed background, which adds just enough interest without taking away from the focal point. I love how subtle texture can elevate a clean card base—it really sets the stage for everything else.
The star of this card is the layered floral arrangement. I used a mix of soft and vibrant tones:
- Coral pink for the main flower (my favorite pop of color!)
- Lavender, soft blue, blush, and cream for the supporting florals
- Fresh greens to bring everything to life
To create dimension, I layered the die cuts slightly over one another, allowing the bouquet to feel full and organic—almost like it’s growing right off the card.
Favorite Elements
Contrast: The black stems and sentiment strip add just the right amount of contrast to ground all the softness.
Dimension: Layering the florals gives the card movement and depth.
Sparkle: A few scattered gems bring in that subtle shine (you know I love a little sparkle!).
Sentiment
The sentiment “YOU ARE AMAZING” is simple but powerful. I love how it sits right across the floral arrangement—it feels intentional and bold without overpowering the design.
