Merry Monday #282

Hello, Happy Monday! It’s time for another challenge over at Merry Monday! This weeks challenge is brought to you by Linda. She has challenged us to create a Christmas card using the inspiration photo below.

My design this week I used dies and patterned paper so this one was easy to create. I went for a vintage look on this design. I die cut the main panel with the Tim Holtz Stacked Deckle Thinlits out of Bazzill Taffy cardstock. The Memory Box Shinning Candles was die cut out of “Stampin’ Up Gold Foil, Garden Green cardstock, Bazzill Red Hots. I blended Vintage Photo Distress ink around the edges.

Crafty Supplies
Paper: Bazzill (Taffy, Red Hots) Stampin Up (Gold Foil, Garden Green) Kaiser Kraft (Silent Night paper pack)
Ink: Distress (Vintage Photo)
Accessories: Memory Box Shinning Candle Die, Tim Holtz Stacked Deckle Thinlits,

With Deepest Sympathy

Happy Friday, friends! I’m glad you’ve stopped by today! I’m super excited to be sharing my first post as part of the CutCardStock Design Team. I typically don’t make many Sympathy Cards. I have a friend who recently lost her mother. I wanted to create a unique card for her.

For my design this week I used Curious Metallic Cardstock in Curious Metallic Cryogen White and Violette. I stamped the Penny Black Flower Cascade stamp with a Copic friendly ink onto the Curious Metallic Cryogen White card, colored with various Copic Markers.

Copic coloring on the Curious Metallic card is like magic it makes the blending process so smooth and to top it off the cardstock has shimmer.

To finish my card, I stamped the sentiment unto the flower panel and added a few watercolor splatters to accent the design.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Just a reminder the Curious Metallic Cardstock is on sale this month. Don’t forget to check out our Facebook page for weekly specials.

Have a great weekend!

TTTC039-Featured Designer Felicita Johnson

Hello, Welcome back to another fun week over at Tic Tac Toe challenge. I’m late getting this post up today I have some serious catching up.I spent most of last Saturday at Kathy Racoosin 30 Day Coloring Challenge Road Trip. The event was at Lawn Fawn in Rancho Santa Margarita. It was a blast I met tons of new crafty friends.

For my design this week I chose the elements middle row across (watercoloring, any accents, monogrammed). I wanted to try the
technique Jennifer used last week with embossing and distress inks and using watercoloring to remove the ink.
