Peace At Christmas Time … Merry Monday

Happy Monday… my crafty friends I’m back with another card for this weeks Merry Monday Christmas challenge. This week Kelly challenged us to create a Christmas card using the Tic Tac Toe board below.. I love a good game of Tic Tac Toe!!! To top it all off I get to play with my crafty supplies and create a design.

For my design this week I kept it quite simple…….. top row across ( Stamping, Patterned Paper, Emboss). If your looking to get your crafty on this week before the holidays you should head on over to Merry Monday and see what the rest of the Design Team created this week. I also have some super exciting news I’ll be staying on with Merry Monday as a Guest Designer. Happy dance.. I love this challenge. On another note we’ll be on holiday until  January 1st., We’ll see you in 2018!

For my card this week I kept it pretty simple. I cut a (4 x 5.25) piece of Neenah Solar White card and embossed it with the Sizzix Winter Snowflakes-3D embossing folder. I cut several pattern papers from the Echo Park A Perfect Winter and adhered onto the bottom of the embossed snowflake panel. I stamped the sentiment onto a (SU) Real Red cardstock with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with Stampendous Detail White (EP).
To finish off my card I adhered the panel onto a side fold Basic Grey card base.

Crafty Supplies
Paper: Neenah Solar White, (SU) Basic Grey
Specialty Paper: Echo Park ( Lori Whitlock – A Perfect Winter)
Stamp: SSS Stained Glass Greetings
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Stampendous Detail White (EP), Sizzix (3-D Snowflake EF), Nuvo Platinum Mousse

I hope you’ll join in the fun this week. Happy Holidays

Merriest Of Christmas – Merry Monday #269

Happy Monday… my crafty friends I’m back with another card for this weeks Merry Monday Christmas challenge. This week Debbie challenged us to create a Christmas card with three of the colors in the photo inspiration below. I’ve been under the weather the past few das and now I have a nasty sinus infection geez… I have no energy for anything.
I was in Michael’s a few days ago and ran across this cute little stamp set Merriest by AI (Art Impressions). I love the Girlfriends stamp set they just crack me up. I decided to ink this baby up and color these gals…
You can hear them belting out those Christmas Carols totally off key. You have to admit they are super cute! I hope you like my take on this weeks photo inspiration while your checking me out you should head on over and check out the rest of the Design Team creations.

I’m sorry I didn’t do a breakout this week this girl is trying to feel better.

Have a great week!

Whoops….TTTC027-Featured Designer Teresa DeWitt-Pierce

Hello my crafty friends… Happy Tic Tac Toe Thursday! My post is a little late this week I’ve been under the weather and yesterday I felt Flu like symptoms. We have exactly 17 days before Christmas…… and I hope your “NICE and not NAUGHTY” cause WHOOPS!!! He sees everything! While your checking out my card for this week please head on over and see what the rest of the Design Team is up to this week.

For my design this week I kept it simple. I stamped the Lil Inker Moody Santa imgae onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with various copic markers. I die-cut the Taylored Expressions Diagonal Stripes Cutting Plate out of Real Red cardstock. I die cut the Santa with the die from the Moody Santa die and adhered onto a Lawn Fawn Lg Stitched Circle that was cut from Bazzill Vellum and adhered onto the Diagonal Stripes panel.
To finish off my card I removed some of the stripes from the diagonal cutting plate and adhered onto an A2 Top Fold card base to look like a Candy Cane. The sentiment was stamped with SSS Clear Ink and heat embossed with Stampendous Detail White embossing powder. Pretty easy my friends.

Crafty Supplies
Paper: X-Press It Blending Card, (SU) Real Red, Bazzill Vellum
Stamp: Lil Inker Designs (Moody Santa + Die, Whoops)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Various Copic Markers (110, C0 R35,37 E50,51,53 Y28)
Accessories: Taylored Expressions (Diagonal Stripes Cutting Plate), Lawn Fawn (LG Stitched Circle Dies), Stampendous (Detail White EP)

Thank you for stopping by this week.

Merry Christmas – Merry Monday Christmas #268

Happy Monday… my crafty friends I’m back with another card for this weeks Merry Monday Christmas challenge. This week Deanne challenged us to create a Christmas card with a Santa hat. I was a little lost on this one considering I didn’t have a stamp with a Santa hat nor a die cut. I used the new Stamp set form the Simon Says Stamp December Card kit (Christmas Squad). You should head on over to see what the rest of the Design Team has created this week.

I stamped the Santa image onto X-Press It Blending card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink (copic friendly) and colored with various Copic Markers ( E31,33 C1, 110, 0, R24,27 RV21) then die cut with a Lawn Fawn (Lg Stitched 4 Bar Rectangles Die). I wanted the Santa hat to be the focal point on my design so I added some Nuvo Glitter Accents to the fur trim and Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the hat. Here’s a close up of the hat.

To finish my card I cut a panel of the Doodlebug design (Milk & Cookies 6×6 paper) with the Santa’s on it and adhered to an A2 Top Fold Stampin Up (Real Red) card base.

Crafty Supplies:
Paper: X-Press It Blending Card, Real Red (SU)
Specialty Paper: Doodlebug (Milk & Cookies 6×6 paper pad)
Stamp: SSS Christmas Squad
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, VersaFine Onyx Black, Various Copic (C1,E31,33 R24,27 RV21, 110, 0, Y28)
Accessories: Lawn Fawn (Lg. Stitched Rectangles 4 Bar Dies), Nuvo Glitter Accents, Nuvo Crystal Glaze

Have a great week and thank you for stopping bye!
