Hello and welcome back to another fun week over at Sketch Saturday… This week we have an amazing Sketch created by Alex you should head on over and see what the Design Team is up too this week
I love to go into Barnes & Noble and see what new crafty magazines they have. For my card this week I couldn’t wait to ink up this new stamp and die set that came with the Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine. I die cut four squares out of an old paper pad of My Minds Eye ( Comfort & Joy) with my Lawn Fawn Sm Stitched Squares and adhered them onto a (5.50 x4.25) Neenah Solar White card base. I die cut a Lawn Fawn Lg, Stitched Circle die and blended some Antique Linen and Walnut Stain Distress inks around the edges of the circle. The Green base circle was die cut the Avery Elle Horizontal Stripes circle. The deer was die cut out from the die that came with the magazine out of Creative Imagination Real Wood.
I masked and stamped the Christmas lights across his antlers and copic colored with various markers. Once dry I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to give the lights some dimension. To finish off my card I adhered the art panel unto the four squares.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving me some comment love. Please head on over and check out my team mates designs as well.

Welcome…. My crafty friends to another week of Tic Tac Toe Challenge! Can you hear me say this in my pretend Vincent Price voice! This week our board was created by Peggy Noe. You should head on over join in the fun and while your there check out the amazing designs the Design Team created this week.

This week I decided to use the elements on the board that are in the top right row diagonal down (Oval, Free, Die Cut) to create a Halloween scene for my design this week. I die cut a piece of Black Licorice card with the Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Die. The oval was cut out with the MFT Cross Stich Oval Die-Namics. The images from The Waffle Flower Boo set was stamped onto X-Press It Blending card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with various Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies.

I used a scrap piece of Bristol Watercolor paper and blended Stormy Sky, Wilted Violet, Black Soot Distress inks onto the paper and spritzed it with water. I masked out the moon with a small circle drawn onto a post-it-note. When the panel was dry I stamped the spider hanging down onto the panel. The sentiment was stamped with Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment ink.

To finish my card I adhered the blended panel to the Wonky Stitched panel I then adhered it onto a Neenah Solar White A2 Top Fold card base. The Bear image was strategically placed at the bottom of the panel to look as though he’s flying by on his wonky witchy broom……… A few bats were added randomly.

Crafty Supplies:
Paper: Neenah Solar White (80lb), Black Licorice, X-Press It Blending, Bristol Watercolor
Stamp: Waffle Flower Boo
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment, Various Copic (Bear E31,33,35 – Hat YR 04,07 100 – Pumpkin YR04,07 YG17 Broom E31,35 Y11,13,17 Bats YR07, BV08 100) Distress (Stormy Sky, Wilted Violet, Black Soot)

Welcone to this week’s Merry Monday Challenge! Things are heating up this week here in So. Cal it’s suppose to hit 100 around here crazy weather!!! This week, Linda S. has challenged us to add a present to our cards…….. I decided to have the cute little Beary Merry Bear from Neat and Tangled deliver some presents to you!!!
You can check out the challenge HERE and also see what the rest of the design team created.

For my card this week I stamped several of the images from the Beary Merry stamp set onto XPress It blending card and colored it with various copic markers. I then die cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut. I stamped the bear onto a piece of MME Comfort & Joy (6×6) paper and cut out the scarf and paper pierced it onto the bear. This paper pack is no longer available.
I cut another piece of the plaid design from the paper pack and adhered it onto a (5.50×4.25) card base. I die cut a panel of Neenah Solar White card with one of the SSS Stitched Rectangle Wafer dies and ink blended Salty Ocean and Stormy Sky Distress Inks for the sky and splattered some Copic Opaque White for the falling snow. A Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside die was used to give me a snow slope… I blended a little of the Salty Ocean and Stormy Sky onto the top of the slope.

To finish off my card I adhered the Beary Merry Bear on top of the slope and placed the presents in his arms and around him. The SSS Gifts of Love greeting was stamped with Ranger Archival Ink on the bottom of the snow slope.

I hope you like my take on this weeks challenge. Thank you for stopping by!

It’s Merry Monday… my crafty friends! This week Kelly has challenged us to create a Christmas card by adding an ornament. I went a little more traditional.

For my card I die cut a piece of Black Licorice cardstock with the MFT Die-namics Rectangle Stax set 1 dies and used the border as a frame. I then cut a 4×5.25 piece of plaid pattern paper from the Paper Studio 12 Days of Christmas 8×8 paper pad that I picked up from Hobby Lobby yesterday. I also die cut a piece of X-Press It Blending Card with the SSS Stitched Rectangle die. I stamped the ornament image form the Penny Black Most Wonderful stamp set onto the Xpress- It paper and Copic colored with various copic markers.

To finish my card I adhered the frame and plaid patterned paper onto an A2 size Neenah card base. A few Nuvo Crystal drops in Gloss Berry Red were added randomly onto the art panel.
