It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday and I’m just going with the flow….. this week!
Today’s card has an ocean vibe going on. I knew I wanted to create a shaker card based on the elements on the challenge board this week… Acetate, Critter, Die-cut.
I purchased a wave background design from the Silhouette store and cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo. I blended peacock feathers, broken china and tumbled glass distress inks onto the wave background.
I stamped and copic colored a few of the images from the Avery Elle Bubbles stamp set and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut and adhered them to the front of the wave background. I used my Misti to stamp the sentiment and curved it to fit the flow of the wave.
I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the wave background and layered strips of SU foam adhesive
onto the back of the acetate. I brushed my EK Success powder tool along the sides of the form strips which will help the sequins to not stick to the sides. I adhered a few of the sequins randomly on the acetate. I added the sequins and then adhered a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock to the back of the panel and then adhered it onto an A2 Top-Fold Card base. In the photo you can’t see my shaker elements. I wish you could it actually turned out better than expected. Thank you for stopping by hope too see you in the gallery….

Hello, Hello! It’s me again I told you I’ve gotten lot’s of play time in the haven and I’m one happy girl. I decided to join in the fun over on the AI (Art Impression blog) the challenge over there is Bling, Glitter, Glossy. I pulled out my Wine Diva stamp set. I love those AI girlfriend stamp sets.

For this card I stamped my image and copic colored it on Neenah Solar White cardstock and cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut. I wanted my background to look like a funny bar scene so I chose some pattern papers from the Echo Park Party Time 12×12 paper collection.
The challenge theme is Bling, Glitter, Glossy and I litterly went all out. I cut a strip from my DCWV Glitzy Pastels glitter paper and adhered it to the party collection background. I used some Nuvo Glitter drops for my bling and you can’t see it in the photo but the wine glasses and wine bottles has glossy accents on them. I finished this card off by adhering it onto an A2 Top-Fold card base.

Happy Sunday my crafty friends…. I’ve been playing a lot this weekend in the haven. I’m entering a few challenges this week. I decided to play along over on the Freshly Made Sketches blog and first time over at The Color Throwdown. The colors on my flowers played right into the colors this week over at Color Throwdown (Dark Pink, Pale Pink, Green, White). This weeks sketch made it so easy for my creation. I knew I wanted to make another card with the Avery Elle Floral Bouquet. I’ve fallen in love with that stamp set.
I stamped and colored the florals in the stamp set with various copic markers on a stitched square Neenah Solar White cardstock.

I found a piece of scrap Neenah cardstock on my desk and took the broad tip of my copic markers and made a few diagonal stripes the same colors as my image and separated the colors with my EK Success journal pen to give the strip a dramatic effect.

I mounted the panel on a 5×5 square base of Neenah Solar White 110 (lb) cardstock. I added a few embellishments with my Nuvo Crystal drops and Clear Wink of Stella to the florals to finish off my card.

Hello, Hello my crafty friends you know what day it is ..It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday! I tried to keep things a little simple today. A few weeks ago I saw Nicole Sphor create this plaid background. I’ve been anxious too try it out. So this week the Tic Tac Toe board has plaid as one of the elements.. without further ado let’s get down to the business of card making.
This week my card for #tttc006 uses elements from the middle row down: layers, fuzzy (Pineapples are fuzzy right) Oh! but aren’t they so cute and of course you see that plaid background right not to bad for my first time.
This week’s card was pretty easy to pull together except the background took me two times before I was happy with the results. I die-cut a square out of Neenah Solar White card stock and went to town masking and blending the cracked pistachio, wild honey distress oxide inks which blends like butter……. After I was done with the background I cut a piece of Strathmore Bristol paper and colored the Pineapples with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I then die-cut the Pineapples and adhered them onto another square piece of Neenah Solar card stock. I used a scrap piece of paper and blended both of the distress oxide inks to give me an ombre look and die-cut the aloha sentiment out twice to give it a little dimension and adhered it to the bottom of my panel with the pineapples. I added glossy accents to the sunglasses and a “lil” clear Wink of Stella to the pineapples and dotted the eyes of the girly pineapple with my Sakura black jelly roll pen. I finished the card off by adding a few Nuvo Crystal Apple drops and then adhered the art piece to the plaid panel onto a square 5×5 SU Garden Green card base.

Accessories: Lawn Fawn ( Lg & Sm Square Stitched Dies), Lawn Fawn (Aloha die), Glossy Accents, Sakura Black Gelly Roll Pen, Clear Wink of Stella, Nuvo Crystal Apple Drops, Post-It Masking Tape

I have that song in my head by Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, Summer Time …. I just love that song it reminds me of summer days growing up as a kid when life was simple. What time is it! It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday.
For this weeks board I chose the middle row down: Summer, Die-Cut, Pattern Paper. I have a pretty easy card for you this week thanks to the SSS July card kit. I chose one of the pattern papers from the Echo Park Summer Dreams collection and adhered it to an A2 top-fold Neenah Solar White card base.

I die-cut a white stitched rectangle out of Neenah and adhered it on top of the pattern paper. I die cut another rectangle out of the SSS lemon chiffon yellow cardstock that was part of the kit and adhered it on stop of the white panel. I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx black ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder to give it dimension. I wanted a fun pattern for the bikini and the blue pattern paper was a hit against the yellow cardstock. I added a few of the moonstone sequins to finish the card.

Thank you for stopping by this week to see my card for this weeks Tic Tac Toe challenge……. Hope to see you in the gallery.
