Happy Wednesday my crafty peeps…. it’s been crazy busy the past few weeks.. work has been extremely busy one of my co-worker’s was on vacation so that means I had to fill in for her double duty for me needless to say I haven’t been able to play in the haven as much as I like… so things are back to normal somewhat at work. I’m playing over on the Freshly Made Sketches blog this evening….. I saw the sketch today and I just have to play along. I got this new stamp from Stampendous and I’ve been stamping Pineapples on any piece of cardstock I could get these inky little fingers on….. I can’t believe next week is my birthday and before you know it July is going to be a blur as well….. what is going on a month comes and it’s out like a whirlwind….5 more months before it’s Christmas. Well my peeps here’s my take on the sketch…. Hope you like!

Happy Saturday my crafty friends…… I’ve been playing in the haven off and on this past week and it’s been great. I have a fun card for you today I’m playing over on the Curtain Call blog….. I saw this image on my instagram feed posted by handletteredabcs one of the brush letteres that I follow. The design is by designed.by.anne ….. so what’s a paper crafter to do recreate the inspiration somewhat I just wanted to try this idea. I thought it was so cool the ink splats around the star… I masked off a large die cut star and went to town on the ink splats I should have masked off some small stars but instead I heat embossed them can’t quite see them in the photo. Well my crafty friends here’s my take on the sketch I tried to get a copy of my inspiration image but sometimes I’m technically challenged when it comes to this stuff what about you!…. Well Hello there my crafty peeps it has been a very busy weekend but I manage to squeeze in some time in the haven to get a few projects completed for a couple of challenges. It’s that time and this evening I’m playing over on the Freshly Made Sketches and Cacology blogs….. My family normally celebrates the 4th early so Friday night was our night on Mission Bay I just love this time of year because to me it’s the official summer kick-off…. Yesterday was quiet I had lunch with Susan, Roxie and Jan it was a great time to just hangout and catch up on just some crafty talk. I went to the fair today with my sister, nephew my Uncle and his son.. I was able to finish my card before I left for the fair…… I’m exhausted from walking around the fair.. I had a corn dog, squeezed lemonade and desert was funnel cake….. can I say fair food overload. Here we go my take on the sketch this week…….

I was a little stumped on the cue word over at CASology (Row) well for my take on the sketch I used a stamp set that I purchased last year and I wanted to use when I thought of the word I immediately thought of the little pest that drives us all cray during the summer….. especially when your trying to enjoy a picnic. Happy Thursday my crafty peeps… I know I didn’t get to do my normal Retro Wednesday post I had a hair appointment so things were a little delayed yesterday… well I’m not to chatty this evening my allergies are really bothering me I’ve had headaches the past few days…. so it’s zapping all of my energy lately. One more day and it’s TGiF tomorrow I’ll be celebrating my families annual 4th of July Bonfire & Barbecue on Mission Bay. I hope I’m feeling better I took some medicine but it has me kinda loopy….. well I guess I was a little chatty anywho’s….. Enjoy my take on the sketch……. Happy TGIF eve.
