Hello my crafty friends it’s been a whirlwind of a week and I’m spending sometime in the haven today cleaning, organizing and getting my crafty on…. I’m playing over on two of my favorite challenges today the first up is the Casology blog the cue word this week is Team…. this one had me a little perplexed so I decided to go with this cute little set from Poppy stamps… You Melt My Heart.. I just think the sentiment explains it all….. Here’s my take on the cue word hope you like.

Hello my crafty friends… I had so much fun at the Stamps & Scrapbook Expo in Ontario found lot’s of goodies that I was going to order online… can’t wait to get them all inked up. I’m playing this afternoon over on the Freshly Made Sketches blog……I’m hoping you’ve had a great weekend and had time to get your crafty on……I decided to use the Avery Elle Christmas Packages stamp set and some cute Pattern Papers from Authentique: Retro Christmas..well I’m going to try and get one more card in this afternoon…… so here’s my take on the sketch! Hope you like…….
I managed to get two cards done today….. I’m doing the happy dance over here this card is for the CASology challenge the cue word this week is Welcome…. I decided to use my Silhouette and my own handwriting for the script sentiment….. I had a welcome stamp but it was just too small for me….. here’s my take on the cue word this week. Happy Sunday my crafty chica’s… I’m playing over on the Casology blog this morning and the cue word this week is Cure.… I decided to pull out a couple of Lawn Sets and be a little whimsical by framing my RX bottle and the chick nurse in a frame….. I think my sister who happens to be a nurse will get a kick out of this one and I think the black and white with a touch of color in the images is perfect…….I think it’s cute enough for someone who’s under the weather will get a smile out of it don’t you think. I’m going to make treat boxes for my lil niece’s preschool class this afternoon it’s going to be a fun. I’ve recruited her parents and big sister and Auntie to help out. Happy Sunday my crafty chica’s … I need a double rarely do I get to create a card and play in two challenges at the same time….. so today I’m going to link up to the Casology blog and the Addicted to CAS both of the cue words this week is Coffee…fun fun and more fun. I’m actually a Coffee snob yes I’ll admit to that I buy my coffee at a local roaster here in my neighborhood. I buy fresh whole beans I love grinding my own beans and brewing it in my coffee pot…. I just love the smell I had a Keurig and I just didn’t like it….. enough of my ranting. I decided to use my Silhouette for this one and trust me I had plenty of stamps I could have used but when I saw this design I just had to make the phrase into a stamped image. I took the phrase and filled it in with the colors that I wanted and then printed on cardstock with my laser printer. I stamped the coffee beans from Altenew’s Coffee Love set in Early Expresso Ink. I hope you like my take on the cue word this week……

Happy Tuesday my crafty chica’s… I decided to do a theme change on my blog you know how it is sometimes you just feel like you need a change. I wanted a style that reflects the new me not the shabby chic look any more. I’m loving my new look hope you like it as well. On another note enough of my blabbering. I’m playing over on the CASology blog this evening and the cue word this week is Spooky…….. I decided to use this Haunted Mansion as my focal image with a blended background and the middle with some fog creeping in from the ocean…. that’s a look you would get here in So. Cal…. I also had to create my own sentiment from a Chiller font… So Your invited to take a tour of my Haunted Mansion…… it does look a lil spooky don’t you think. Well we’re almost there it’s Wednesday eve….. Hope you like my take on the cue word… I’ll be back over the weekend to play some more.

Happy Saturday….. My crafty Chica’s.. Today is world card making day so I decided to spend some time in the haven making at least one card. I’m playing over on the CASology blog today the cue word this week is cute…. I decided to go way back and pull out one of my favorite sets. It’s Southwestern Charm by Paper Smooches. I’m not a big fan of lizards or Geko’s I love this little Geko I think she’s so cute yes I said she because I gave her some eyelashes. I decided to do a dotted texture look with my copics to give her a spotty, splotchy look….. I went out last night down to the pier to shoot long exposures of the ocean had a great time…… Well I have to run I’m going to help my niece with a project for her college Art class…….I hope you get your crafty on today…. and you like my take on the sketch I’ll check you out later with more cards for a few other challenges…..I’m sharing one of the photo’s from last night as well.
