Hello my crafty friends it’s been a busy weekend didn’t get to play as much as I wanted to this weekend… I decided to play over on the Freshly made Sketches blog this afternoon… I’m in love with the SSS/Neat Tangled Stamptember stamp set that squirrel in that acorn is just too cute…… I decided to use it here on my banner…… It’s time to go back to work the weekends just go so fast I hope you like my take on the sketch. Happy Saturday my crafty peeps….. it’s been a tad bit crazy around here we’re re-plumbing and the house has been a big mess so this girl has been a little sad…. I couldn’t get my crafty on the Mr. felt sad for me and made space for me in the haven so I can craft this weekend….. I’m doing what I love playing in a few challenges this weekend first up is Freshly Made Sketches….. I’m mixing it up a little going way back and mixing some old with the new. I got some new goodies from the Stamping Up Christmas Catalog. I used the Owl punch get it that’s the old with some new Halloween DSP paper and the Pumpkin Pie Shimmer paper is awesome. I kinda wanted a creepy smoky look so I took some Ranger Black Smoot and blended it on the mats….. it looks smoky to me.. It’s a rap hope you like my take on the sketch.

Happy Labor Day my crafty chickas….It’s Monday and I’ve enjoyed having that extra day off….. I’m hoping to do a lot of card making in the haven today. I finally finished a project for my Brother he recently got a new job and I wanted him to share this quote with him to place on his desk……………

I just love this quote it’s so true even in paper crafting sometimes we have to take another shot because sometimes that card you were working on just didn’t turn out the way you expected…..
