AI.. #212 Bling, Glitter or Glossy!

Hello, Hello! It’s me again I told you I’ve gotten lot’s of play time in the haven and I’m one happy girl. I decided to join in the fun over on the AI (Art Impression blog) the challenge over there is Bling, Glitter, Glossy. I pulled out my Wine Diva stamp set. I love those AI girlfriend stamp sets.

For this card I stamped my image and copic colored it on Neenah Solar White cardstock and cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut.  I wanted my background to look like a funny bar scene so I chose some pattern papers from the Echo Park Party Time 12×12 paper collection.

The challenge theme is Bling, Glitter, Glossy and I litterly went all out. I cut a strip from my DCWV Glitzy Pastels glitter paper and adhered it to the party collection background. I used some Nuvo Glitter drops for my bling and you can’t see it in the photo but the wine glasses and wine bottles has glossy accents on them. I finished this card off by adhering it onto an A2 Top-Fold card base.

Happy Sunday……

Happy Sunday my crafty friends…. I’ve been playing a lot this weekend in the haven. I’m entering a few challenges this week. I decided to play along over on the Freshly Made Sketches blog and first time over at The Color Throwdown. The colors on my flowers played right into the colors this week over at Color Throwdown  (Dark Pink, Pale Pink, Green, White). This weeks sketch made it so easy for my creation. I knew I wanted to make another card with the Avery Elle Floral Bouquet. I’ve fallen in love with that stamp set.

I stamped  and colored the florals in the stamp set with various copic markers on a stitched square Neenah Solar White cardstock.

I found a piece of scrap Neenah cardstock on my desk and took the broad tip of my copic markers and made a few diagonal stripes the same colors as my image and separated the colors with my EK Success journal pen to give the strip a dramatic effect.

I mounted the panel on a 5×5 square base of Neenah Solar White 110 (lb) cardstock. I added a few embellishments with my Nuvo Crystal drops and Clear Wink of Stella to the florals to finish off my card.

Summer, Summer, Summer Time – TTTC005

I have that song in my head by Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff,  Summer Time …. I just love that song it reminds me of summer days growing up as a kid when life was simple. What time is it! It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday.

For this weeks board I chose the middle row down: Summer, Die-Cut, Pattern Paper.  I have a pretty easy card for you this week thanks to the SSS July card kit. I chose one of the pattern papers from the Echo Park Summer Dreams collection and adhered it to an A2 top-fold Neenah Solar White card base.

I die-cut a white  stitched rectangle  out  of Neenah  and adhered it on top of the pattern paper. I die cut another rectangle out of the SSS lemon chiffon yellow cardstock that was part of the kit and adhered it on stop of the white panel. I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx black ink and embossed it with clear embossing  powder to give it dimension. I wanted a fun pattern for the bikini and the blue pattern paper was a hit against the yellow cardstock. I added a few of the moonstone sequins to finish the card.

Thank you for stopping by this week to see my card for this weeks Tic Tac Toe challenge……. Hope to see you in the gallery.

Congratulations – The Paper Players #351

I’ve spent so much time over the holiday weekend playing with paper and it’s no exception this morning I put the finishing touches on my card for the challenge over at The Paper Players.

For my card today I went with the Congratulations theme. I stamped the SSS Floral Bliss floral image with Versamark ink and heat embossed with SSS Ultra Fine Gold EP on a sheet of pink  6×6 pattern paper from the Echo Park Wedding Bliss paper collection that was included in the June 2017 SSS Card kit. I really love this kit the papers and stamp set are perfect for wedding cards

I picked the black floral pattern paper and added a strip of gold foil paper to draw your eyes too the stamped image on the muted pink paper.

I heat embossed the congratulations sentiment on a strip of black cardstock with the same SSS Ultra Fine Gold EP and adhered it on the card with foam tape to give it dimension.  I added a few embellishments with the Nuvo Glitter Drops in Honey Gold to finish off the card and adhered it to a top-fold Neenah Solor white card base.

Thank you for stopping bye to check out my design for this weeks theme challenge over at The Paper Players!

Freshly Made……..

Happy Sunday eve……. I’ve been playing like crazy this weekend in the haven. It started on Friday evening I sat down to work on a card for the challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches.

For my card, I started by stamping and coloring several of the flower and leaves from the Avery Elle Floral Bouquet stamp with various copic markers. After coloring I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut the flowers and leaves.

I wasn’t sure how this was going to play out  I arranged the flowers and leaves on a square stitched panel and die-cut a rectangle piece of black patterned paper from an old Authentique Collection called Foundation.

I cut a thin strip of SU Lemon Lime Twist cardstock to just make the image pop and wowzer!!! I love this new In-Color form SU it brings out the color in the leaves. I added some Clear Wink of Stella and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ivory Seashell to the center of the flower for shimmer and a little accent . The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink from the same stamp set. I finished it off by adding a few of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Carnation Pink to add a little interest around the flower.

Crafty Supplies:
Paper: Neenah Solar White (80lb), Authentique: Foundation Collection, SU Lemon Lime Twist
Stamp: Avery Elle Floral Bouquet
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaFine Onyx Black, Copic Markers (RV21,23,25,29 YG21,23,25,17).
Accessories: Lawn Fawn LG Stitched Rectangle and LG Stitched Square, Clear Wink of Stella, Nuvo Crystal Drops Ivory Seashell and Carnation Pink, Brother Scan N Cut.

I hope you enjoy my take on the sketch.

It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday………. Happy 4th of July!!!!!!

Hello, It’s that time… What time is it! It’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday and I have a fun card for you today. I  used the elements in the middle row down….. blue, embossing, happy.
I couldn’t wait to pull out this old stencil I got last year in the SSS August 2016 Card kit.
I created several fireworks on my navy blue cardstock with various EP (hint, hint) I took the middle row too a whole new embossing level.
After embossing several fireworks I went over my card with some perfect pearls to give the fireworks some shimmer.
I then stamped the Happy 4th of July sentiment on vellum and adhered it with glue dots to my card front. This card was pretty easy to create. I hope you join in the fun over on the TicTacToe challenge this week.
