Merry Christmas Merry Monday
Hello! Welcome back to another Merry Monday challenge this week Sue’s theme is for us to add a decorated tag to your card using texture, bling and die cuts. I’ll say this one was a bit of a challenge for me. I think my creative flow went out the door and was struggling to come back.

For my design this week I went deep into the crafty stash and pulled out an old MMH Card kit. I stamped the poinsetta and leaves images onto Neenah Solar white card and die cut them out with the dies included in the kit. The tag was die cut with a stitched tag die. To finish off my card I added Nuvo Crystal drops in mustard to the center of the flowers and Ranger Glitter Glue for texture onto the leaves. A few crystal elements in Ruby was placed randomly onto the tag. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with Ranger Lime Green EP. I then adhered the panel onto an Neenah Solar White card base.

Please don’t forget to head over to the Merry Monday challenge to check out the rest of the Design Team.

Winter Flamingos – Sketch Saturday
Good morning my crafty friends it’s Sketch Saturday! I have a super cute card for you this morning. Our Sponsor this week is Sasayaki Glitter. I choose the Winter Flamingos image for my card.
I downloaded and printed my image onto Copic X-Press It paper and colored the image with various Copic markers. I wanted my card to look as though I’m sending a Christmas postcard to a dear friend. I used my Avery Elle-ments Poatage die to create the look I wanted. The sentiment was cut out from a strip of Lawn Fawn Snow Day papers.
As a final touch, I wanted the flamingos to look “cooky” since it’s winter… so I added a few googlies too two of the flamingos, Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the falling snowflakes and a few sequins randomly placed on the card. The panel and the Lawn Fawn Snow Day paper were adhered onto a Neenah Solar White card base.
Please head over to the Sketch Saturday blog and see what the rest of the Design Team created. Have a great weekend!

Hello, Are you ready for some Tic Tac Toe. I’m back with a new card for you this week over on the Tic Tac Toe challenge. For this weeks design I went middle row across: Floral, Yellow, Die-cut.

I stamped the Penny Black Flower Cascade stamp onto Neenah Solar White card stock twice. I then stamped the image again on Bristol card stock. I colored one of the images that was stamped on the Neenah with various Copic markers and then I fussy cut it out… I know right! not my thing for sure.
The image that was stamped on the Bristol card stock I did some ink smooshing with Hickory Smoke, Wild Honey Distress Inks. Next I adhered my fussy cut image with a slight offset onto the smooshed background. The sentiment is from SSS Bouquet of Thanks stamp set it was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed with Wow Clear EP.

As a final touch, I created tiny flowers with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion and Ebony as accents, Clear Wink of Stella was added to flowers to give them a little shimmer. I die cut the panel with the SSS Scallop Border die before mounting the panel on a Black Licorice card base.
Pull out those crafty supplies and join in the fun! Before you go check out what the rest of the Design Team has created this week over at Tic Tac Toe challenge.

Silver Bells – It’s Merry Monday
Hello! Welcome back to another Merry Monday this week Nina’s theme is for us to create a card based on our favorite holiday movie. I love when October rolls around the Hallmark channel kicks off their holiday movies old and new it ‘s my favorite time of the year.

My design this week was inspired by one of my favorite movies below. For this weeks card I wanted a faux watercolor look. I used several distress markers on different sections of the Penny Black Bell & Berries Brushstroke stamp. To highlight my image I masked off a section and lightly blended wild honey around to give it some dimension. The sentiment was stamped with Gathered Twigs ink
As a final touch, I added accents to the berries with a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen, ink splatters with gathered twigs and a few gems from Hero Arts before mounting the panel on a Real Red card base.

Joy to the world…….. It’s Merry Monday
Hello! Happy Monday my crafty friends…This morning I have a new challenge for you Merry Monday Challenge and this week our hostess is Marcia and the challenge is to Create a Christmas card with the word “JOY” on it. I’ll be guest designing for Merry Monday Challenge for the next 4 months. I’m super excited to be joining a team of some amazing designers.
For my card this week I couldn’t wait to ink up the Avery Elle Caroling Critters. I think it goes well with this weeks challenge ” create a card with “Joy” can’t you envision those critters standing on the street corner singing Joy to the World.
I inked up several images from the stamp set with a Copic friendly ink Memento Tuxedo Black and colored the images with various Copic Markers. The images were cut with my Brother Scan N Cut. I used one of the dies from the Avery Elle Custom Panels Elle-ments set to cut out a snow bank. On the background I used Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch to create a snowy night. I used the Avery Elle Falling Snow Elle-ments die to add the snow. To finish my card I adhered the background to an A2 Top Fold Neenah Card base. I added Nuvo Glitter to the die cut snow banks to make it look like fallen snow on the ground and adhered them to the background.
I added some detail to the images with a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen, glossy accents was added to the lamp post. The sentiment and musical notes were stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black. Hope you like my take on this weeks challenge. Come play along with us for the Merry Monday challenge, the design team has some beautiful inspiration on the challenge blog as well.
