You are Beautiful – TTTC 076

Welcome Back, Welcome Back… Happy Thursday my crafty friends you know what time it is… pull out those craft supplies and join me in a fun game of Tic Tac Toe with a crafty twist. This week our board was created by LeAnne.

For my design this week I’m playing middle row across: Alphabet, Square and Embossing. My design was pretty easy to pull together. I die cut my art panel with the largest  Stitched Square from Lawn Fawn (Small Stitched Square die set). The black panel was die cut with the largest die from the Lawn Fawn (Large Stitched Square Die. I splashed the art panel with Ken Oliver’s Color Burst for (My Favorite Things – Tropical Teal).

I stamped the Altenew Paint-A-Flower Anemone in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts Fine Detail Black embossing powder. The Big Scripty Hello from Essentials By Ellen I die cut three times out of Neenah Solar White card stock for added dimension. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Paint-A-Flower stamp in Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

To finish my design I adhered the art and mat panel onto a Neenah Solar White card base. Hope you like my take on this weeks board. You should head on over and play along with us this week.

AECP Level 1 All About Layering – How R U

Hello again!  I am posting my third homework assignment for AECP. This design I’m using the beautiful Whimsical Flower stamp set. I’m in love with these layered flowers and the countless ways you can use them to  create so many lovely designs.

If your new to layering stamps like me and feel intimidated by them, Altenew has layering guides with each set on their website. These guides are great if your not sure how to line the stamp layers up properly. The more I create and come out of my comfort zone I’m loving learning this new technique.

Third Design
For my third project, I wanted a kissing technique for my flowers. I masked two of the flowers from the Whimsicle Flower: stamp set to create this beautiful design. To color the flowers I stamped with Altenew Crisp Dye Inks in, Shades of Purple and Green Fields Mini Cube Ink sets. Creating this design was quite simple as the images are fairly defined. If it isn’t exact it doesn’t matter in the least. The sentiment is from the Label Love: stamp set, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

I was pleasantly surprised that my design came together easily by following the alignment guide. I wanted my whimsicle flowers to pop off the page the shades of purple ink really draws your eyes to those lovely flowers. I die cut the art and colored panel using  Lil Inker Stitched Mats Dual Stitched Rectangles.

Lastly I finished my card by adding a few random sequins and adhered the art panel to the colored card stock, and attached to a Neenah 110 lb top fold card base. Feel free to leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my design today!

TTTC 070 – Showering You With Love

Happy Thursday!!! It’s time to break out those crafty supplies and join us for another exciting Tic Tac Toe board this week.

For my design this week I chose the top left diagonal row down ( Polka Dots, Coloring, Sparkle)… In light of everything going on around us the sentiment on my design says it all.. Showering You with Love :). I love MFT ( My Favorite Things) Pure Innocence stamps they are aDorable…This one isn’t around anymore 🙁

I colored the cute little girl and duckies on X-Press it Blending Card Paper with various Copic Markers and Die cut with my Scan n Cut. I cut a strip of Polka Dot paper from Echo Park (6×6) Easter Wishes paper pad. I adhered it onto Hero Arts (4¼ x 5 ½), Snow Layering Paper. To finish off the design I added polka dots on her dress, umbrella, boots and hat with a size 10 white jelly roll pen and sparkle with Spectrum Noir Crystal Clear Sparkle pen. I hope you like my take on this weeks board elements.
