Happy Saturday my crafty friends….. I went in to work this morning to try and catch up on some work the 3 day weekend always gets me when I get back to the office…. I didn’t get to play in the haven as much as I like this week so I’m playing a little catch up hoping to get some play time in just a little but we’re headed to LA for the evening. I’m playing over on the CASology blog and the cue word this week is Beach… when I saw the word I thought of me sitting in an Adirondack chair just “chillin” with the sand and water hitting my feet and of course tropical drink resting on the arm of the chair… I kinda of envisioned myself doing that with this card one can only dream of doing this right…. I used various copic’s on this card and a dotted technique to get the sand to look the way I wanted it too….. it took several tries to finally get the sand the way I wanted it to look. Happy Labor Day my crafty chickas….It’s Monday and I’ve enjoyed having that extra day off….. I’m hoping to do a lot of card making in the haven today. I finally finished a project for my Brother he recently got a new job and I wanted him to share this quote with him to place on his desk……………
“Life is like a camera….
Focus on what’s important,
Capture the good times,
Develop from the negatives, And if things don’t work out, Take another shot”………
I just love this quote it’s so true even in paper crafting sometimes we have to take another shot because sometimes that card you were working on just didn’t turn out the way you expected….. Happy Sunday my crafty peeps….. I hope your having as much fun as I am on this three day weekend. I’m playing in the haven this morning off and on so happyyyyy it’s a long weekend…. I’m hoping to play in a few challenges this weekend. I’m playing on my favorite CASology and I’m going jump over and play on the Colour Q blog as well. The cue word over on Casology is Stitch…. and the color combo over on Colour Q is Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Black and of course white.… so here you go my take on both sketches…….

Well hello my crafty chickas….. it’s Tuesday and I’m playing in a new challenge for me this week….. I’ve been eyeing this blog for awhile and I finally got an opportunity to play over on The Less Is More blog this week.
