Happy Monday my crafty friends…… I’m playing over on the CAS(E) this Sketch! blog this evening….. I used one of the florals from the stamp set Timeless Love by SU and cut it out with my Brother Cut & Scan and popped it up to give it dimension. I colored the image with various Zig Clean Color markers…. I don’t know about you but I was pretty tired today Monday blues. I’m coming off of celebrating my birthday over the weekend….. so this girl was pretty exhausted today. Here’s my take on the sketch hope you like!

What a day….I woke up to the most amazing encouragement a girl could receive today is my birthday and I’ve been super encouraged by family and friends near and far. You know me even the birthday girl wants to get her crafty on so this evening so I’m playing over on the CASology blog the word is ROUGH I can’t say that’s how my day was it the total opposite filled with love and joy but any who’s ….here’s my take hope you like.

I’m going to use the card I played over on the Tic Tac Toe blog. I think this card fits the bill don’t you. Sentiment in the middle with open space above and below the main area… I just love this card it was a challenge to pull off for sure………… Well I hope you like my take on the sketch…….. I’m going to play in the haven today to put some finishing touches on a few cards that I would like to enter in a couple of challenges……… I’m playing over on the Less Is More blog this one is a newbie for me the theme challenge this week is REPETITION… I have the cutest lil card for this one. Next up is the new challenge over on the Tic Tac Toe blog my take on the sketch is the top row across embossing, doodling, add dimensional… I added dimension alright can you see I popped the hello up on the card to give it a 3D effect so cool the look but it was a challenge to pull it off. I hope you like my take on the challenge.

I’m also playing over on the Simon Say’s Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog the theme this week is Create A Scene… I can somewhat do that considering I live in Southern Cal and the beaches are 30 or 40 minutes away we have quite a few. I don’t like going during the day it’s just too hot, crowds of people early morning is better ………. my birthday is in a few days maybe I’ll spend some time at the ocean…………. just sit, relax and take photo’s I need to do that more considering I took classes to learn how to take better photo’s of my cards for my blog posts………..lol the classes did pay off. I understand how to use my camera. Ok! peeps here you go Let’s have some fun in the Sun! I’m also playing on another new blog challenge Muse... My take on the sketch is critters with a background scene that’s my interpretation of Tracy’s photo… it fit’s right in with the challenge theme over at SSS as well. Hope you like all the excitement I have going on this Sunday afternoon.
