Happy Tuesday……
Wow! I can’t believe in 5 days August will be over.. so scary. I was just thinking that we only have 4 more months left in this year. Crazy huh!
I spent most of my weekend working on ideas for card challenges, I think I over analyze my card making. I think it’s the Accountant in me that comes out every now and then and not that creative side of me.
That’s the reason for my addiction…….. Card making is soothing to the soul.
Well one of the challenges I like a lot is the Tag You’re It Challenge….. So here’s my take on the challenge.

Hello Friends,
I wasn’t in the card making mood over the weekend…. and that is a not like me.
I decided to join the fun over at the Cutting Edge Challenge. I love Washington, DC in the spring time especially the Cherry Blossoms.
When I saw this stamp set and die I had to have it- it reminds me so much of the Cherry Blossoms.
I think Cherry Blossoms + Weddings in the spring time are a perfect combination.

I haven’t played in my haven much this weekend….. it’s been so hot here in San Diego the humidity has been crazy almost like back east… I just so happen to scroll over to the Neatly Tangled Blog today and I saw they had a challenge going on…… who doesn’t love a good challenge right. This girl does for sure!
I already had this one made for a birthday card that I didn’t use so here goes my take on the Happy Birthday Challenge.

Evening,
I’ve been meaning to post this card I made for my boyfriend’s Mom, on Saturday. The weekend just got away from me. Time flies when you’re having fun….. I can spend all day in my haven making card after card and watching videos.
This card was a bit of a challenge – really the sentiment wasn’t supposed to be die cut I should have stamped it on the actual vellum.
So here goes the details……..
- Paper: Base: Neenah Solar White Cardstock ( 5-1/2×11 score @ 4-1/4, Mat: Neenah Solar White Cardstock (5-1/4×4)
- Vellum Strips (SU Vellum 1″)
- Ink: Copic Markers ( R85, Y17,B02,B24) Use the to color the vellum strips.
- Other: Big Shot, Simon Says Stamp(Happy Birthday Die), Sequins (Pretty Pink Posh), Dazzling Details ( SU on Happy Birthday), Small Glue Dots to make the Happy Birthday float.
