How fortunate you are to have a ‘real life’ community of crafters to create with; based on your card, as well as those of the others in the hop, a whole lot of fun, encouragement and support happens! Wish I had such a group here….Even so, your gorgeous floral sprig (WOW to your colouring!!) has certainly inspired me across the miles (oops….I meant ‘kilometers,’ as I live in Canada)!
Most of my cards have a same old, same old style, featuring images on the left/center and sentiment to the right (bottom, most often). Your card’s design, with the image on the right and sentiment upper left, is most eye-catching and intriguing. Perhaps this is something that seems ‘simple,’ but for me, it’s new and refreshing! Bet you can predict what my next card layout will look like *grin* Thank you for the eye-candy and the wonderful inspiration!

I’m sorry that you don’t have a real life community of crafters. When I started I didn’t either as you stay on this journey you will gain many crafty friends along the way. I wish I could show you some of my first designs you would chuckle. I often wonder if one day I would be as good as some of the ladies I watch on video. My crafty skills have really evolved. I usually try and create something every day and that is how I’ve evolved to where I am today. You’ll get there and in time you’ll sit and laugh at the first designs you created. I bet your cards are beautiful…. Inky Hugs from across the miles.
You’re such a sweetheart to share such an uplifting message! I’ve been fortunate to meet many ‘friends’ via the online community and how wonderful they are! Indeed, I’ve met four in real life and have regular phone conversations with another two! Such fun! I do wish I could find a group of people to craft with in my small Alberta, Canada town. Keeping my eyes and ears open! Yes, I strive to create daily and some cards are hits, while others are misses! Love stamping, dies and coloured pencils. Water-colouring and I have an on-again/off-again relationship. I need to spend more time practicing, even though I’ve been practicing for quite a while! That’s where having a ‘real’ community would be helpful; someone to guide and offer an eye that’s perhaps less critical than my own. We certainly tend to be hardest on ourselves at times, don’t we!
