Hello, Hello my crafty friends it’s Tic Tac Toe Thursday and this week’s board was created by none other than Shannon Jaramillo. They say three times a charm right! For this weeks creation it took me 3 not 1 but 3 times before I was some what happy with the results. The verdict is still out but any who’s here you go! I’ve been wanting the W Plus 9 Modern Anemones stamp set for some time now and I’ve been chomping at the bit to try embossing with the Tonic Nuvo Gilding Flakes. This weeks board provided the perfect opportunity.

I stamped several of the Modern Anemones flowers and leaves onto Neenah Solar White Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with various copic markers. The flowers and leaves were cut out with my Brother Scan N Cut.
I die cut an oval shape out of black cardstock with one of the MFT Cross Stitch Oval dies and arranged my flowers to look as though they were cascading the oval shape. I wanted a bold graphic look and the Ellen Hutson Modern Graphics paper was the key to pulling this design together.
To finish off my card I adhered a (4 x 5.25) piece of one of the Modern Graphic designs paper onto an A2 Top Fold Neenah Solar White card base. The sentiment was stamped with SSS clear ink and heat embossed with Ranger Sticky embossing powder Nuvo Gilding flakes in Radiant Gold were applied to the sticky embossed sentiment, rubbed in and the excess removed with a brush.
I adhered the oval (just so you know the oval was the reason for my 3 times is a charm) and arranged the flowers around the oval added a few My Minds Eye enamel dots from Christmas on Market Street
Thank you for stopping by please don’t forget to check out the rest of the Design Team designs this week.

Lisa, three times is definitely a charm in this case! Your coloring is beautiful and everything just pops right off the bold pattern paper! The gold embossed sentiment and your matching accents are the icing on the cake! Beautiful!! XX
Shannon,
Your such a sweetheart… it was that oval shape that had me so frustrated I just couldn’t get it centered. I finally had to just go with it I still felt it was off.
